DC4K is a special group, designed for children ages 5-12 years, to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents.  At the weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce or separation of their parents.

Parents are encouraged to be involved with their children as the children go through DC4K.  Each parent receives a weekly “Parent Page” describing what the child has learned and offering tips to strengthen the parent/children relationship, creating stronger bonds in the single parent family.

The DC4K group meets weekly in 13 week cycles.  Games, crafts, activities, music and DVD dramas combine to create a fun atmosphere where kids feel comfortable and accepted.

Divorce Care for Kids will be held at the Lumina Center beginning Monday, January 23 and running each week from 5:30-7:00 PM.
